It’s alright at my father’s age, but you are young, I want to be free, be wild, I don’t want to be a sadhu.

What i have to teach is not...

For I don’t talk about substance or soul or even a god, nor do I ask any of my followers to have faith, seek grace or worship me.

This life is full of pain, and this world is full of suffering.

The cause of suffering is craving(强烈的渴望), self-love and attachment. The remedy (治疗，解决办法) is the systematic destruction of craving.

Nirvana(涅槃), we must think of as the enlightenment of the conscious mind, control of yourself, and then concentration and meditation.

This should lead to wisdom.

You said yesterday that life is a chain unbroken, linked together by cause and effect. For me cause and effect are not enough, it is my opinion that everything is whole, unified, complete.

佛陀回答：我的目标不是教导各种各样的知识，只是教大家解脱痛苦的方法。

Opinions may be beautiful, ugly or clever. It is not my goal to explain this world to those access to different knowledge.

It is the salvation of suffering, that’s all Buddha teaching. Nothing more.

他说：佛陀永远说不清自己顿悟的经历，他不需要任何老师，要自己去寻找

You can never tell the secret what yourself experienced, what you achieved and enlightened. That is why I’m going on my way, not to find a better teacher, but to leave behind all teachers. And to find a way alone.

佛陀说：你很聪明，但太聪明，要防止太聪明

You are clever young sadhu, perhaps too clever, be on your own guard against cleverness.

my friend is my shadow and now becomes his shadow.

I thought the world of the purif was the truth, but it’s wrong, it’s my own eyes and my own mouth that I couldn’t understand. I couldn’t understand myself.

5他身无分文，船夫却免费载他过河

there is much to be learnt from this river.

I didn’t expect anything from you,

I have learned from the river that everything returns.

遇见名妓

sadhu from the woods说这些溢美之词

I can think, wait and fast, read and write.

You are like me, you can retreat within yourself.

There’s nothing to do with that ,Swami is clever, yet he has no please.

面对富有奢侈的生活，他感觉变成了另一个Swami，于是渡河返回，与当初的船夫一起拉船。

再遇名妓，她被毒蛇咬伤毙命，留下他們的兒子。

自己的儿子却不喜欢自己，逃跑了。

后来自己拉船，再遇Govinda

Nothing remains the same, everything changes and everything returns.

you are seeking too long and too much.

The trouble is that someone becomes obsessed with the goals.

when you are seeking it means there is something to find,

but the real freedom is that there’s no goal,there is only the now,

what happened yesterday has gone, what will happen tomorrow you will never know.

so we must live at the present, like the river.

他捡起一块石头，说自己年轻时不会喜欢石头，但现在不同，这个石头会变成土壤，土壤长出植物（石头成为植物），人吃这个植物...

God is everywhere we must stop searching, stop worrying, and learn to give love

When Siddhartha wanted to find the teacher of love, the woman asked him what he had owned in the physical world. He replied,I can think, I can wait, I can fast(斋食).When he was young, he talked with his brother Govinda about the nearby monk and seeking of wisdom.He said, they might have been dead before reaching the Nirvana. He believed that everything in the world could teach him, so he started on the road of seeking to become a sadhu.One day he woke up at the boatman’s house, then crossed the river without payment.The boatman said, everything can change and everything can return in different ways, we would meet again. After going through the years, Siddhartha returned to the riverside and started the second half life of crossing the river.

电影配乐让我想起了无印良品，日本的禅乐，交媾的画面也很具有瑜伽的美感，情节过渡有点儿快了，除去印度式英语口语，英语字幕词汇过于通俗了。
